It is possible to look at the art-making process as a form of meditation, a process in which the artist creates a peaceful atmosphere to paint by observing very ordinary objects. In a situation where people are experiencing mental instability due to the pandemic, the artist created a unique relationship with the daily objects that she was surrounded by and connected with them through the art-making process.
The installation in the room resembles the artist’s personal space where she spent most of her time making art. Artist tried to hold the idea of finding the extraordinary sight of an ordinary object in the apartment and further giving an identity to the object throughout her painting. The installation is recommended to observe alone to create a relationship with the audience or create a question into the visitor’s mind. The paintings on the wall, the piece of curtain, the bean bag, and the avocado plant all together creates an atmosphere and provokes the audience to ask questions or feel connected with the artist’s intimacy with her own space.
